Vicky McClure, Russell Grant and Nell McAndrew have teamed up with Alzheimer's Research UK, and are urging the public to take part in the charity's virtual running challenge this summer, Running Down Dementia, to raise funds for research into the disease.

The charity has partnered with parkrun UK to launch the challenge, and McAndrew, who lost two grandparents to dementia, commented 'Running Down Dementia is a fantastic way to raise money for dementia research.... I’d encourage everyone, whatever your ability, to pull on your trainers and get involved!'.
